A good crowd braved the threatening and cool weather this Saturday, October 7, to come to Marion Square for the Bring Them Home Now rally. Among other things we heard moving accounts from family members of soldiers who have died or are in grave danger now, and we saw that we are not alone in our opposition to the war.
While a special thanks has to go to ThinkingPeople for providing the idea and keeping up with the logistics, many groups worked together for the rally and the events leading up to it. Especially helpful were:
