Brian Moore/Stewart Alexander: SPUSA Candiates for President |
|
Written by Stephen Tash
|
|
Certainly, the Socialist Party is not expecting Brian Moore to be
taking the presidential Oath come January 20, 2009. Traditional
presidential campaigns of the Socialist Party exist for the purpose of
spreading the socialist message, for recruiting, which may ultimately
lead to an honest attempt to win the presidency. In light of the goals
of a presidential campaign, the Socialist Party could not have chosen
two better candidates for the job. - Third Party Watch

Obama is no enemy of Social Security. But like most of the country, he
is misinformed on this issue. So he is going after his opponent,
Hillary Clinton, for saying "if we just get our fiscal house in order
that we can solve the problem of Social Security." Alternet

U.S. Elections Over Before They Began |
|
Written by Allan Nairn
|
The US press is reporting that on Thursday the American political system began the process of selecting the next President of the United States.
But that is not true.
The process is already largely completed, in that we already know that the next president will highly likely be one of eleven rich people each of whom have positions that -- if implemented -- will kill perhaps eleven million poor people. Counterpunch
