January 17 Direct Action, U.S. Supreme Court

On the 30th anniversary of the first execution after reinstatement of the death penalty, nine abolitionists, including two Charleston Peace members, were arrested for displaying a banner calling for an end to executions on the steps of theUnited States Supreme Court.
