Wright, Poet The photographer and poet arranged an exhibition, currently at the Halsey Gallery, based on a creative collaboration between themselves and inmates in three Louisiana prisons. On Friday, February 16 at 6 p.m. photographer Deborah Luster and poet C.D. Wright will give a presentation at the College of Charleston 's Alumni Hall (second floor of Randolph Hall) on "One Big Self," a remarkable collaboration between these two artists and inmates in three Louisiana prisons. This project displays photographs of prisoners as they wish to be seen, along with poetry written to accompany the images responding to conversations and interactions with the prisoners. This event is free, with the public encouraged to attend.
