![]() Since the invasion of Iraq in March of 2003, 3190 U.S. soldiers have died, along with 258 coalition soldiers from other countries, hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians and an unknown number of civilian contractors. American voters sent a clear message in the 2006 election that we want the war to stop. Let's not allow the people in power to forget that message. On Saturday, March 17, a coalition of local groups will mark the fourth anniversary of the invasion with a march through downtown Charleston. Let's make this the biggest peace march Charleston has ever seen! Please help us keep up the pressure and do your part to bring the troops home! If you can't join us for the whole march, check the map, bring signs, friends, and family, and meet us along the way. Also please download and print the flyer, give copies to your friends and ask local businesses to put them up. (The cheapest and most effective thing to do is to print one good copy on white paper and then make photocopies on whatever color you think looks good.
