Commemorating the Abolition of the International Slave Trade

Wednesday at 7pm in Charleston County Public Library--"This Ambiguous Anniversary"--five of the world's leading scholars on the history of the slave trade will lead a public panel discussion on the significance of the bicentenary of the banning of the international slave trade.
