Close the SOA
IMG_4260_180.JPG

The School of the Americas (SOA) in Fort Benning, GA has trained over 60,000 Latin American soldiers in interrogation tactics, psychological warfare, and counterinsurgency techniques, and its graduates have tortured, raped and killed union and student organizers, teachers, clergy and others working for human rights in Latin America.

The movement to close the SOA is gaining strength. Read abou the history of the movement to close the SOA and about legislative actions, and see the photos from the November 22-23, 2008 vigil.
